Communications Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to oversee internal and external communications. The ideal candidate should be an excellent written and verbal communicator, work well in a team environment, and lead with a positive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team’s efforts in marketing and communications strategies

  • Create marketing and communications collateral for all public relations, marketing, and advertising

  • Write press releases and business correspondence

  • Communicate with media organizations and journalists and create press kits

  • Perform communications research and monitor the success of communications campaigns

  • Represent the organization at events

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications

  • Minimum of three years of marketing or communications experience

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and ability to meet deadlines

  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships
